Hailing from Mexico City, Carlos relocated to California at the age of 19 and dove into the restaurant industry with both feet.
Early in the years he discovered his passion for service and customer satisfaction. He has worked shoulder to shoulder with franchise owners. By operating several restaurants he has challenged himself by increasing sales and exceeding profit margins. He has lowered cost of goods and he has led them to obtain the franchise of the year award for three consecutive years.
He is also committed to his personnel and focuses on developing their professional side rising hundreds of general managers.
During his career, he has been responsible for developing the catering division of a few franchises, opening of 19 restaurants and operating his own business ventures.
Although food industry is very demanding, Carlos, loves spending time with his family and kids and whenever they have a chance they enjoying vacationing together.
In Summer 2012 he decided to start a new journey and open the doors of Red Tomato Fresh Catering.
